It would be easy to mistake being in the south of France, due to the wrought iron chairs and candelabras, the white painted cupboards and spontaneous flower arrangements, the paved courtyard, and the vines that stretch so far, it is all you can see. Its pretty straightforward. Completely different from the last 2, this place is special very much so in its own right. Youll head along the best preserved stretch of the Old Great North Road with information boards along the way, which give you lots of facts, but also true stories about the convicts that constructed the road.
